These terms and conditions govern the use of the Bilto service — a web and mobile application for quotes, invoicing and client management for tradespeople — published by Shams & Cie SNC (CHE-201.626.522), whose full details appear in the legal notice. They apply to any account created on Bilto for professional purposes.
Bilto lets you create quotes and invoices (including by AI-assisted dictation), manage clients, a catalogue of services and job expenses, and issue invoices compliant with the Swiss QR-bill standard. The features include those described on the website and in the application, which may change over time (see §13).
Creating an account gives access to a 15-day free trial, with no commitment and no payment method required: unlimited clients and quotes, AI dictation limited to 15 quotes generated over the whole trial. After 15 days, a paid subscription (§4) is required to keep using the service; data entered during the trial is retained and becomes accessible again as soon as a plan is taken out.
Bilto offers three paid plans, billed monthly or annually:
The applicable prices are those shown on Bilto's pricing page at the time of subscription or renewal. An annual subscription benefits from a discount equivalent to two free months compared with the monthly price.
The monthly subscription renews automatically each month; the annual subscription is taken out for one year and renews automatically at expiry unless cancelled beforehand (§6).
Swiss law provides no statutory cooling-off period for a professional subscription taken out online. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period (monthly or annual), with no pro-rata refund for the period already started. You keep access to the service until then.
Payment is made by card (or any other method offered at the time of payment) through a third-party payment provider, which processes payment data on our behalf — see our privacy policy. If a payment fails when due, we will inform you and allow a reasonable period to remedy it before any suspension of access; access is restored once payment is settled.
Any price increase will be notified to you at least 30 days before it applies. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel your subscription before it takes effect, free of charge.
Prices are stated excluding VAT for as long as the publisher is not liable for Swiss VAT; where applicable, VAT will be added and shown separately on each invoice.
You may delete your account at any time, on your own, from the Profile page of the application. Deletion is immediate and final: it ends any current subscription and erases your data in accordance with our privacy policy.
You remain the owner of all data you enter into Bilto (clients, quotes, invoices, catalogue). We use it solely to provide you with the service, as described in our privacy policy.
See the general liability provisions in our legal notice, which also apply to this document. In accordance with art. 100 of the Swiss Code of Obligations, no provision of this document excludes or limits the publisher's liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
These terms may be updated; the date at the top of the page indicates the last change. Any substantial change affecting current subscriptions will be communicated to you before it takes effect.
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the publisher's registered office in Haute-Sorne (canton of Jura), subject to mandatory legal provisions to the contrary.
